Job Title: FinOps Analyst / FinOps Engineer - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Location: Mumbai / Pune / Mangalore(Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented FinOps Analyst / FinOps Engineer with experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support cloud cost management, billing operations, pricing administration, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with Cloud Operations, Finance, and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate cloud usage reporting, invoice generation, and cost optimization.

Required Skills

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Understanding of cloud billing, pricing, and cost management concepts.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Experience with Excel (Advanced), Power Query, Pivot Tables, CSV data analysis.

Experience in Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, or similar reporting tools.

Solid understanding of invoice reconciliation and financial reporting.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

FinOps Foundation Certification or Cloud Financial Management experience.

Experience with OCI Billing and Cost Analysis tools.

SQL for data analysis and reporting.

Python or scripting for reporting automation.

Experience working with Finance, Accounting, or Revenue Operations teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Cloud Cost Management, FinOps, Billing Operations, Financial Reporting, or Cloud Operations.

Experience supporting multi-tenant cloud environments preferred.

Key Responsibilities





OCI Cost & Usage Management

Monitor and analyze OCI cloud consumption across customers, tenancies, and compartments.

Track compute, storage, network, and database resource utilization.

Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide recommendations.

Investigate usage anomalies and unexpected spending increases.

Support cloud budgeting, forecasting, and spend governance activities.

Rate Card & Pricing Management

Maintain customer-specific rate cards, discounts, and pricing structures.

Apply pricing rules and validate cloud consumption charges.

Support pricing model updates and contract-based billing requirements.

Ensure pricing accuracy across customer accounts and services.

Invoice & Billing Support

Generate customer invoices based on OCI usage data.

Reconcile cloud usage reports with billing records.

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.

Support monthly and quarterly billing cycles.

Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure invoice accuracy and timely delivery.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

Create and maintain OCI cost, usage, pricing, and billing dashboards.

Develop reports for cloud spending, profitability, and consumption trends.

Automate reporting processes wherever possible.

Present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Documentation & Process Management

Maintain documentation related to billing processes, pricing methodologies, and reporting procedures.

Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.

Ensure compliance with internal financial and operational processes.
