Verify and validate insurance coverage and coordinate with insurance companies for pre-authorizations and documentation.

Collect advance deposits, pending payments, and counsel on financial requirements for admission, discharge, and during treatment.

Assist patients with queries on billing and charges at various stages of treatment; address grievances related to payments.

Facilitate and process charity assistance, government aid, or medical loans where applicable.

Ensure necessary documentation for financial transactions is accurate and complete in patient records.

Report financial clearance and status to hospital administration for continuity of care and strategic planning.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations regarding patient financial counselling.
