Role Summary Cafe Athyeka is looking for an experienced and commercially solid Finance Controller to manage and control the overall finance function for its 6 café outlets. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, outlet-wise profitability, cost control, budgeting, inventory and cash controls, compliance, and strengthening financial processes across the business.

The candidate should have strong experience in F&B;, restaurants, cafés, hospitality, retail, or other multi-unit businesses and should be able to work closely with Operations and Management to improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall finance and accounts function for all 6 outlets.
- Prepare and analyse outlet-wise P&L;, MIS, and profitability reports.
- Monitor daily sales, collections, expenses, purchases, and payments.
- Control and analyse food cost, beverage cost, labour cost, and operating expenses.
- Track Budget vs Actual and highlight financial variances.
- Monitor inventory, stock variances, wastage, and possible leakages.
- Ensure proper cash, POS, bank, UPI, card, and delivery-platform reconciliations.
- Review vendor payments, outstanding balances, and purchase-related controls.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance in coordination with relevant consultants.




- Establish and strengthen financial SOPs and internal controls across all outlets.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
- Work closely with the Operations Head and Outlet Managers to improve financial performance.
- Present key financial insights and recommendations to Management.

Candidate Requirements Experience: 8–12 years in Finance & Accounts, preferably with experience in restaurants, cafés, hospitality, retail, or multi-outlet businesses.

Budget - 70-80k
