The role focuses on organizing and analyzing financial information, preparing reports, supporting financial planning activities, and developing practical skills in financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

- Assist with collecting and organizing financial and business data.
- Prepare and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports.
- Use Excel to analyze financial information and prepare summaries.
- Assist with reviewing revenues, expenses, budgets, and other financial data.
- Support the preparation of regular financial and management reports.
- Assist with comparing actual results against budgets or forecasts.
- Identify basic trends, variances, and inconsistencies in financial data.
- Perform data validation and accuracy checks on financial reports.
- Assist with preparing charts, tables, and financial summaries.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities under appropriate guidance.
- Assist with maintaining financial records and documentation.
- Conduct basic research related to financial and business information.
- Work with team members to understand reporting requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Complete assigned financial analysis and reporting tasks within agreed timelines.

- Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Excel formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis features is an advantage.
- Familiarity with financial modeling or forecasting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools is an advantage.
- Academic projects involving finance, accounting, or financial analysis are welcome.
