This is a project based chance for Freelancers/Independent Consultants.
Our client, a global NGO, is looking to engage a finance consultant to establish an India-based payment architecture while eliminating dependence on U.S.-issued corporate cards.
Key responsibilities
1. Payment Architecture
2. Design an India-based payment operating model for SaaS, technology and online-service vendors.
3. Reduce/eliminate dependence on U.S.-issued corporate cards.
4. Evaluate corporate cards, virtual cards and expense-management platforms.
5. Finance Operations & Process Design
6. Design end-to-end purchasing, payment, invoice, accounting, reconciliation and reporting workflows.
7. Develop finance SOPs, purchasing policies and approval matrices.
8. Tax & Regulatory Compliance
9. Advise on GST, RCM, ITC, TDS/withholding tax and tax treaties.
10. Ensure FEMA/RBI, foreign-currency accounting and Form 15CA/15CB compliance.
11. Implementation & Transformation
12. Evaluate/configure payment and expense platforms.
13. Migrate subscriptions from U.S. corporate cards.
14.
Test international payments and reimbursement workflows.
15. Support finance and employee training.
16. Vendor & Payment Governance
17. Identify Indian vendors, resellers and intermediaries.
18. Establish controls for critical-vendor payment continuity.
19. Develop migration and implementation roadmaps.
