Job Summary

This is a good prospect for an experienced finance professional to join Sharma Group and oversee the finance and accounts functions of three manufacturing plants.

The candidate should have strong experience in financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, taxation, statutory compliance, auditing, product costing and team management.

Candidates from the automotive components and heavy engineering industries will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the finance and accounts functions of all three plants.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management MIS reports.
- Manage general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, working capital, expenses and financial performance.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, income tax and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payment of applicable taxes.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, banks and government authorities.
- Oversee product costing, inventory valuation and cost-control activities.
- Monitor customer receivables,



vendor payments and bank reconciliations.
- Lead and review the performance of the finance and accounts team.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial information maintained in Tally, ERP and other accounting systems.
- Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and reporting processes.
- Support management in financial planning, decision-making and business-growth initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills
- MBA in Finance, M.Com or another relevant postgraduate qualification in Finance.
- Candidates who have completed CA Intermediate may also be considered.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliance, auditing and accounting standards.
- Experience in manufacturing costing, inventory control and MIS reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP/accounting software and Advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with management and external agencies.
