Role Description The Head of Finance will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance for the organization. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves leading the finance team, managing financial controls, and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. The Head of Finance will partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights, support business planning, and guide decision-making.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, reviewing variance analyses, optimizing cost structures, liaising with auditors and external stakeholders, and implementing robust financial policies and systems

What You Will Own

- Controllership: Drive a disciplined month-end close, reconciliations and accurate books, with a target of Day-6 closure.
- Governance & Compliance: Own GST, direct tax, ROC, statutory compliance, audits and internal financial controls.
- Business Finance: Lead MIS, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and meaningful budget-vs-actual analysis.
- F&B; Economics: Drive visibility and control over food cost, inventory, consumption,



wastage and procurement across outlets and central kitchen.
- Expansion Finance: Oversee capex, fixed assets and financial evaluation of new store openings, including break-even and outlet profitability.
- Systems & Processes: Build scalable SOPs, approval frameworks and finance processes that can keep pace with rapid growth.
- Leadership & Partnership: Work closely with the founders, business leaders to bring financial rigour to strategic decisions.

What We're Looking For

- CA with 10 years of experience.
- F&B; / Restaurant industry experience is mandatory.
- Proven experience managing finance in a multi-outlet / multi-brand setting.
- Strong understanding of F&B; unit economics, inventory, food cost and outlet profitability.
- Strong technical grounding in accounting, taxation, controls and financial reporting.
- Commercially minded, hands-on and comfortable operating in a high-growth entrepreneurial environment.
- Someone who can move beyond reporting numbers to explain what is driving them and what the business should do next.
