Designation – Finance Manager

Reporting To: Finance Head

Key Internal Relationships: Finance, SCM, Sales, Legal, MD Office, Subsidiary leads

Key External Relationships: Principals, Banks, Auditors, Customs House Agents, Tax Authorities, External Advisors

Role Summary

Owns end-to-end finance, accounting, treasury and compliance for the group, including customs & logistic clearances oversight, inter-company transactions, fund management & allocation, and providing strategic financial advice to Finance Head, the Managing Director and Directors for growthand investment decisions.

Core Responsibilities

1. Accounting, Reporting & Controls

● Ensure timely, accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management MIS.

● Implement and maintain robust accounting policies, internal controls, and month-end /

year-end close discipline.

● Lead statutory, tax and management audits and ensure audit observations are closed on time.

● Oversee ERP / Tally (or other finance system) governance and ensure master data, ledgers and reconciliations are accurate.

1. Import / Export Finance & Customs Clearance Oversight

● Own finance aspects of import/export: valuation, duty accounting, IGST treatment, duty drawback, and inventory accounting. ● Coordinate with SCM, CHA and Import/Export team to ensure documentary compliance and correct accounting treatment for Bills of Entry, B/L, AWB and freight costing.

● Implement controls for import cost allocation, landed cost calculations and customs duty reconciliation with books. (Aligned with responsibilities defined for import & logistics teams).

1. Taxation,



Compliance & Governance

● Ensure timely GST, TDS, corporate tax compliances and lead interactions with tax advisors. ● Maintain statutory compliance for payroll, benefits and statutory filings.

● Drive SOX-style process improvements (as relevant) and strengthen governance.

1. Team Leadership & Capability Building

● Lead the finance function — AR, AP, Cost Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Import Finance and Payroll.

● Build and mentor a high-performing team, define explicit KPIs, succession planning and training programs.

● Establish SLAs with internal stakeholders (SCM, Sales, Service) and ensure financial discipline across teams.

1. External Stakeholders & Bank / Investor Relations

● Manage banking relationships, credit lines, guarantees, and investor/partner queries. Qualifications & Experience

● Qualified MBA (Finance), CA / CFA / CMA or equivalent with strong technical accounting &

tax grounding.

● 02–03+ years of progressive finance experience including P&L; ownership, treasury, tax, and cross-border transaction exposure.

● Hands-on experience with import/export accounting, customs duty treatment, GST & related compliances. (Your team’s import/export processes are reflected in the Finance team file and should work under this role).

● Strong exposure to intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and related party transaction governance.

● Proven experience in fund raising, treasury management and investor / bank interactions.

● Excellent stakeholder management skills and commercial acumen.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
