Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Downstream Integration / General Ledger (GL) & Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) professional with 8–12 years of experience exclusively within the Banking domain , preferably from Banking GCCs / Captive Centers .

The role will be responsible for supporting finance downstream integration, subledger-to-GL processes, transaction lifecycle management, reconciliations, testing, exception management, and go-live/hypercare activities across Finance and Treasury-related systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate downstream Finance and TLM requirements into Subledger-to-General Ledger (GL) mapping specifications and mapping sheets .
- Analyze and document transaction flows from source systems/subledgers through downstream Finance and GL systems.
- Perform and support Subledger-to-GL reconciliations , including identification and resolution of breaks, exceptions, and suspense items.
- Investigate accounting and transaction-level exceptions and prepare detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation.
- Work closely with Finance, TLM, Treasury, Operations, Technology, and Controllership teams to resolve downstream integration issues.
- Support chart of accounts, ledger structures, accounting rules, and reporting controls , including implementation or transformation initiatives.
- Develop and review test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and test evidence for Finance and TLM system changes.
- Review UAT results, identify defects/exceptions, document RCA, and coordinate remediation with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and review BRDs, functional requirements, mapping documents, reconciliation procedures, UAT documentation, and process documentation .
- Support integration testing and UAT for Finance, Treasury, GL, Subledger,



and related banking applications.
- Participate in go-live weekend activities , including transaction validation, reconciliation, issue tracking, and Finance/TLM sign-offs.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support , monitoring transaction flows, reconciliations, exceptions, and suspense balances.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and controls are maintained throughout implementation and production support activities.
- Support Finance transformation, ledger implementation, system migration, and downstream integration initiatives.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Banking , with strong preference for candidates from Banking GCCs / Captive Centers .
- Robust understanding of General Ledger (GL), Subledger, downstream Finance integration, and transaction lifecycle management .
- Hands-on experience with Subledger-to-GL reconciliation, exception management, suspense handling, and transaction validation .
- Experience preparing and maintaining GL/Subledger mapping sheets .
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or Ind AS , accounting principles, and financial reporting controls.
- Experience with Chart of Accounts (CoA), ledger implementation, accounting structures, and financial reporting .
- Experience in Finance/Treasury system implementation, migration, integration, or transformation projects .
- Strong experience in BRD, UAT, test case preparation, test execution/review, defect management, and RCA documentation .
- Ability to analyze transaction flows and identify breaks between source systems, subledgers, and GL.
- Experience working with Finance, Treasury, TLM, Custody, Operations,



and Financial Controllership functions.
- Experience supporting go-live, cutover, production validation, and hypercare .

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a Banking Finance/TLM professional with 8–12 years of experience , preferably from a Banking GCC/Captive environment , who understands the complete transaction lifecycle from source/subledger systems through downstream accounting, reconciliation, and General Ledger reporting . Candidates with a combination of Finance Operations + Finance Systems/Change + GL integration experience, particularly those who have worked on Treasury, Custody, TLM, Financial Controllership, or Finance Transformation projects , would be highly relevant.
