Finance Data Product Lead / FP&A; Analytics Lead
Role Summary
We are seeking a Finance Data Product Lead / FP&A; Analytics Lead to serve as the critical bridge between business finance, accounting, and technical data engineering teams. This individual will own the end-to-end alignment of management reporting requirements, financial metrics, and source-system definitions,
ensuring that analytical data platforms accurately reflect financial truths, reconciliations, and reporting hierarchies.
What You Will Own & Drive
- Partner deeply with finance leadership to understand business goals and management reporting requirements.
- Drive consensus and agreement across teams on standardized financial definitions, metrics, and reporting hierarchies.
- Translate complex accounting and FP&A; business needs into clear, actionable technical data requirements.
- Define financial controls, data validation rules, and automated reconciliation frameworks across systems.
- Rationalize, consolidate, and streamline recurring management reports to optimize analytics efficiency.
- Collaborate with ERP teams to ensure source-system data definitions and structures support downstream reporting.
- Work closely with Data Architects and Snowflake Data Engineers to define proper analytical representations in the data warehouse.
- Validate and verify that analytical data platforms rigorously reconcile back to core finance systems of record.
Must-Have Experience & Core Qualifications
- Proven track record in FP&A;, finance analytics, or finance transformation roles within enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience with management reporting, executive dashboards, and financial analytics.
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise ERP data structures (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Deep understanding of core financial statements and metrics, including P&L;, bookings, revenue recognition, and expense reporting.
- Data modeling literacy with the ability to understand data warehouse design, dimensional structures, and semantic layers.
- Exceptional stakeholder-management skills with proven ability to align finance executives and technical engineering teams.
