The Finance Controller will support the financial management and performance monitoring of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities in Hyderabad. The position will work closely with the Finance team, Operations teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cost control and high-quality financial analysis supporting business growth and operational excellence. The Finance Controller will act as a business partner to operational teams and contribute to strategic decision-making through financial insights, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts and long-term business planning activities.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management dashboards and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Analyze financial performance and identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
- Monitor operational performance indicators including productivity, labor efficiency, turnaround time and profitability.
- Monitor direct and indirect costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Review inventory valuation, provisions, work-in-progress and spare parts management.
- Support working capital improvement initiatives through monitoring of inventory, receivables and payables.
- Analyze cost trends and provide recommendations to management.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data and reporting.
- Support compliance with Group financial policies, internal controls and local regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
- Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Programs and other support functions.
- Contribute to the development of finance processes, systems and reporting tools.
- Support digital transformation and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Job Requirements
Education and Professional Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)
Professional Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Controlling, Management Control, FP&A; or Industrial Finance.
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, MRO, engineering or industrial services environment preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Solid understanding of management reporting and financial performance analysis.
- Good knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting and operational finance.
- Understanding of IFRS and Indian accounting standards.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools is desirable.

This position is based in Hyderabad, India and will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the MRO business. The role will work in close collaboration with the existing Finance Controller and operational stakeholders to strengthen financial performance management and business decision support. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong understanding of MRO operations and contribute to improving profitability, operational efficiency, cost control and working capital performance across the organization.
