About the Company:
AdYogi
(Xplanck Marketing Private Limited) is a digital marketing and martech company enabling D2C brands, marketplace sellers, and enterprise retailers to scale performance advertising across Meta, Google, Amazon, and other platforms. The business operates across multiple entities and branches with high-volume, multi-platform billing — a finance workplace with genuine complexity and scale.
Role Overview:
We are hiring an Associate – Finance & Accounts to work directly with the Head of Finance and support day-to-day operations of the finance department .
The role sits alongside the Head of Finance and connects into the work of every member of the finance team - accounting and close, receivables and payables, reconciliations, taxation, and reporting. You will step into whichever workstream needs support on a given day, track items through to closure, and keep the department’s running priorities moving.
Because the role touches everything the department does, it offers exposure to the complete finance function rather than a single vertical - the fastest way to build a well-rounded finance professional early in a career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Finance in day-to-day operations and priorities of the finance department.
- Assist across accounting entries, ledger schedules, and month-end close activities.
- Support receivables and payables - invoicing, AR ageing, vendor processing, and follow-ups.
- Prepare bank, platform, client, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Assist with GST and TDS workings, return data, and compliance trackers.
- Prepare recurring MIS schedules, trackers, and Excel workings from multiple data sources.
- Coordinate with team members across workstreams to track pending items through to closure.
- Support audits by collating schedules and documentation.
- Take up ad-hoc analysis and departmental requirements as they arise.
Qualification:
- MBA (Finance), B.Com, or M.Com from a recognised institute
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit.
- Freshers with strong fundamentals and demonstrated internship experience may be considered.
Technical Skills
- Solid grasp of accounting fundamentals, journal entries, and the trial balance.
- Advanced MS Excel — lookups, SUMIFS, pivot tables, text functions, and data cleaning.
- Familiarity with GST and TDS basics.
- Exposure to an ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Tally, or Zoho) is an advantage.
Behavioural
- Genuine appetite to learn across all areas of finance rather than specialise early.
- Comfortable switching between tasks and priorities as the day demands.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Ownership mindset — follows items through to closure.
- Clear written communication for internal and client-facing coordination.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-moving business.
What this Role Offers:
- Direct working exposure to the Head of Finance — regular one-on-one review, feedback, and mentorship.
- End-to-end learning across the finance function — accounting, close, AR/AP, reconciliations, taxation, and MIS in a single role.
- Visibility into audits, multi-entity operations, and management-level reporting early in your career.
- Hands-on ERP and advanced Excel capability built on live, high-volume data.
- A defined growth path towards Assistant Manager based on performance.
