About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Finance & Accounts Executive with more than 1 year of experience to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations across multiple businesses in India and Malaysia.
This is an ownership role. You will ensure that accounts, invoices, receivables, payments, reconciliations and financial records are always accurate, current and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping & Accounts
- Maintain accounts in Wave Accounting
- Maintain client, project and vendor ledgers
- Record and categorise transactions
- Manage bank and credit-card reconciliations
- Maintain supporting invoices, receipts and documentation
- Reconcile platforms such as Grab, Touch 'n Go and advertising spends
2. Invoicing & Receivables
- Prepare and send invoices
- Track outstanding and overdue invoices
- Follow up with clients for payments
- Maintain accurate client/project ledgers
- Provide up-to-date receivables reports
3. Payments & Cash Flow
- Track vendor, employee, influencer and contractor payments
- Manage reimbursement records
- Track recurring payments and credit-card dues
- Maintain cash-flow visibility
- Flag upcoming financial commitments and potential cash-flow issues
4. Monthly Accounts
- Complete monthly bank/account reconciliations
- Review receivables and payables
- Maintain expense records
- Prepare monthly financial summaries
- Ensure books and documentation are up to date
5. Compliance & Audit Coordination
- Maintain a compliance calendar
- Prepare financial information for GST/SST and other submissions
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and company secretary
- Maintain audit-ready records and documentation
- Support annual accounts, tax and compliance requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounts/finance operations
- Experience managing accounts for SMEs or multiple entities preferred
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, AR/AP and reconciliations
- Proficient in Wave Accounting, Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
- Good understanding of invoicing and collections
- Comfortable following up on overdue payments
- Experience with India/Malaysia accounting is an advantage
- Robust organisational and communication skills

This role is not responsible for statutory audit, tax advisory or company secretarial work. External professionals already handle these areas.
Your responsibility is to keep the underlying bookkeeping, financial operations, documentation and compliance coordination accurate and up to date.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
