Role Description This is a full time, on-site Field Sales Executive role based in Madurai South.

The Field Sales

Executive will be responsible for visiting merchants and businesses in the assigned territory, onboarding them onto the Paytm platform, and promoting Paytm’s payment solutions and services. The role involves conducting product demonstrations, explaining key features and benefits, assisting with registration and KYC processes, and ensuring smooth activation of Paytm services. The individual will maintain regular follow-ups with merchants, resolve basic service-related queries, and work towards achieving daily, weekly,



and monthly sales targets.

The Field Sales

Executive will also collect feedback from the field and share insights with the internal team to improve offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for engaging with merchants and business owners.
- Sales and customer relationship management abilities, including lead generation, prospecting, and follow-up.
- Basic understanding of digital payments, UPI, and mobile apps, with the ability to explain technical features in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet set performance targets.
- Prior experience in field sales, FMCG, telecom, or financial services is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort with using smartphones, mobile apps, and digital tools for reporting and merchant onboarding.
- Fluency in local language and working proficiency in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
