Role Description The Field Application Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, including understanding application requirements, recommending suitable components or solutions, and assisting in design-in activities.

The person in this position will conduct product demonstrations, prepare technical presentations, and collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement customer strategies. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting application issues, responding to technical inquiries, visiting customer sites,



and coordinating with internal engineering teams to resolve complex problems. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of analog and other electronic products, market trends, and competitor offerings to support effective customer engagement.

Qualifications

- 2+ years experience in field applications and technical support skills, with experience assisting customers in product selection and implementation.
- Sales and customer-facing skills to support business development, manage relationships, and collaborate with the sales team.
- Solid understanding of analog circuits and electronics, including common components and their application in real-world designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters) and basic troubleshooting methodologies.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple customer engagements and priorities on-site in Bengaluru.
- Prior experience in a similar Field Application Engineer or technical customer support role is an advantage.
