Role Description The F&B; Counter Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based at The Shalimar Hotel in Mumbai. This role involves greeting guests, taking and processing food and beverage orders, and ensuring accurate billing and cash handling at the counter. The team member will maintain cleanliness and presentation of the service area, coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order delivery, and support upselling of menu items and promotions.





The role also includes responding to guest inquiries, handling basic complaints professionally, and adhering to hygiene, safety, and quality standards set by the hotel.

Qualifications

- Strong Food Service and Food & Beverage knowledge, including basic understanding of menu items and service standards.
- Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on courteous interaction and guest satisfaction.
- Effective Communication skills to interact clearly with guests and coordinate with kitchen and service teams.
- Previous experience in hotel, café, or quick-service F&B; environments is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a rapid-paced setting.
- Basic numeracy and attention to detail for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or F&B; certification is an added advantage.
