SANMAT invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of:

Position: Fashion Designer Trainer

Location: Dumka, Jharkhand

Employment: Full time

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theory and practical training for the Fashion Designer course.
- Train students in fashion design, design development and collection creation.
- Guide learners in market research, trend analysis, mood boards and design concepts.
- Provide practical training in garment pattern making, draping and prototype development.
- Train students in preparation of tech packs, design specifications and cost sheets.
- Guide learners in garment construction, fitting, quality evaluation and corrections.
- Train students in the use of fashion design software and digital tools.
- Maintain attendance, training records, practical assessments and learner progress.
- Promote workplace safety, sustainability, gender sensitivity and PwD inclusion.
- Support learners in developing employment, entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities.

Eligibility As per the Fashion Designer – QP Code: AMH/Q1201, Version 4.0, NSQF Level 5:





- Diploma in relevant trade – minimum 4 years’ relevant designing experience, OR
- Graduation – minimum 3 years’ relevant designing experience, OR
- Post Graduate Diploma – minimum 2 years’ relevant designing experience, OR
- Post Graduate Degree in relevant trade/sector – minimum 1 year’s relevant designing experience.

The qualification should be in the relevant trade; the QP specifically states that textile qualification and experience will not be considered for this trainer requirement.

Certification

- Candidates certified to ToT for Fashion Designer – AMH/Q1201 Version 4.0 will be preferred.
- Minimum accepted score specified in the QP: 80%.
- Trainer certification mapped to Master Trainer (VET and Skills) – MEP/Q2601 v2.0 is recommended.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and relevant experience.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
