Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to take overall responsibility for factory operations, production, manpower, quality, maintenance, productivity and cost control at our manufacturing unit in Athani, Thrissur.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the factory.

- Plan and achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets.

- Manage production of PET/plastic bottles and packaging products.

- Ensure optimum utilization of machinery, manpower and raw materials.

- Monitor production efficiency, wastage, rejection and machine downtime.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch teams.

- Ensure proper preventive maintenance and reduce machine breakdowns.

- Maintain product quality and ensure adherence to customer specifications.

- Manage factory manpower, shifts, attendance and productivity.

- Implement SOPs, 5S, safety procedures and process improvements.

- Control production costs and minimize wastage.

- Monitor raw material consumption and production-related inventory.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production and factory performance reports.





- Ensure compliance with factory safety and statutory requirements.

Requirements

- Lead and motivate supervisors, operators and other factory employees.

Candidate

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience as Factory Manager / Plant Manager

- Mandatory experience in PET bottles, plastic packaging, blow moulding, injection moulding or related manufacturing.

- Solid knowledge of production planning and factory operations.

- Experience in handling large production/manpower teams.

- Good understanding of machinery, maintenance and quality control.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to achieve production targets while controlling cost and wastage.

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, Plastics Engineering or a related field will be preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
