About the Role

Indepesca Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented Factory Manager / Factory Head to lead and manage our factory operations at Kurla. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the FMCG and/or Food Processing industry and be capable of independently handling complete plant operations, government authorities, statutory compliance, production efficiency, manpower, and factory administration.

The candidate should be ready to accept challenges, take ownership of operations, and grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage complete day-to-day factory and plant operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of production, processing, packing, dispatch, maintenance, and manpower operations.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve operational targets and timely deliveries.
- Maintain and improve productivity, efficiency, quality standards, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Factory, Labour, Safety, Health, Food, and Environmental regulations.
- Handle inspections, visits, notices, and coordination with Government Officers and Regulatory Authorities.
- Liaise with authorities such as Factory Inspector, Labour Department, Fire Department, Pollution Control Board, FSSAI, Municipal Authorities, and other statutory bodies, as applicable.
- Ensure all factory licenses, registrations, approvals, and statutory records are valid and updated.
- Implement and monitor factory safety standards and employee health and safety practices.
- Manage factory manpower, attendance, discipline, productivity,



and workforce planning.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, training, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and statutory compliance.
- Work closely with Management and other departments to resolve operational challenges.
- Monitor wastage, production losses, utilities, and operational expenses and take corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, SOP implementation, and process optimization.
- Handle emergency situations and operational challenges with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Prepare and present regular MIS and operational reports to Management.

Candidate Profile

- Strong experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Manufacturing, or Plant Operations.
- Proven experience in independently managing a factory or manufacturing plant.
- Strong knowledge of Factory Compliance, Labour Laws, Safety Regulations, and Government Liaison.
- Experience in handling inspections and dealing with Government Officers and regulatory authorities.
- Solid leadership and people-management skills.
- Ability to manage challenging situations and take quick operational decisions.
- Good knowledge of production planning, quality, maintenance, dispatch, and cost control.
- Hands-on, disciplined, and result-oriented personality.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Experience Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably with significant experience in handling complete factory or plant operations in the FMCG / Food Processing / Manufacturing sector.
