Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with a robust background in stainless steel fabrication. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SS304/SS316 tanks, vessels, structural assemblies, and process equipment. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, shop floor execution, quality, manpower management, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor daily production activities.
- Manage fabrication of SS tanks, vessels, skids, platforms and structures.
- Read fabrication and GA drawings.
- Coordinate with Design, Planning, Purchase, Stores and Quality.
- Prepare production plans and monitor progress.
- Supervise fit-up, welding, grinding,



polishing and assembly.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and materials.
- Maintain production reports.
- Ensure quality, safety and timely delivery.
- Resolve production issues.

Required Technical Skills
- Knowledge of SS304 & SS316 materials.
- Tank and structural fabrication.
- TIG, MIG and Arc welding.
- Welding symbols and WPS.
- Drawing reading and BOM understanding.
- Cutting, bending, rolling, drilling, grinding and polishing.
- Production planning and scheduling.
- Quality inspection and dimensional checking.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 38 years of relevant fabrication experience.
- Experience in Dairy/Food/Pharma/Process equipment preferred.
- Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
