Position: Fitter

Job Responsibilities

Read and understand mechanical drawings and basic dimensions.

Perform machine and equipment assembly as per drawings and work instructions.

Fit, align and assemble mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, gears, plates, frames and other parts.

Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and fitting tools.

Perform drilling, grinding, cutting, tapping and basic fitting operations wherever required.

Check component dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer and other measuring instruments.

Ensure proper alignment, tightening and positioning of components.

Assist in assembly of crushing and screening machinery.

Identify fitting/assembly defects and rectify them.

Follow production targets, quality standards and safety procedures.





Maintain tools and workplace cleanliness.

Candidate Profile

Qualification

ITI – Fitter preferred

Diploma – Mechanical can also be considered depending on requirement

Experience

Freshers / experienced candidates can be considered depending on the opening.

Experience in heavy engineering, machinery assembly, fabrication or automobile/equipment manufacturing will be an advantage.
