Service line - Position Title: FAAS MS Staff Financial reporting The Opportunity

Were looking for incumbents who is responsible for the timeliness and quality of the work as per Project requirements for our FAAS team and possess strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge. The role requires prior experience and knowledge of financial reporting activities.

You will be responsible for executing tasks with increasing autonomy, applying sound judgment within defined parameters, and contributing to team outcomes. You are expected to demonstrate initiative, resolve routine issues independently, and support junior colleagues.

You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Assisting in Managing engagement delivery Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Understanding of the reporting requirements relevant to the countries allocated (specific focus on UK based companies), as allocated to your team




- Receive direction from the Manager and Senior Manager
- Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing Supervisors of engagement status
- Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion, and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports
- Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies (e.g., guidelines of the EY FAAS Policy Manual); and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situation

Skills and attributes for success

- Positive knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, UK GAAP etc
- Relevant experience in the following areas

- Financial statement preparation
- Drafting accounting policies

To qualify for the role, you must have

- CA Inter/pursuing, ACCA Qualified/pursuing with B.com Pass/ (H), M. Com/MBA qualified
- 0.5-2 years of relevant experience including articleship in Reporting
