Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Gurgaon for an Export Sales Marketing Manager (Pharma). The role is responsible for identifying and developing new export markets, managing existing international clients and distributors, and driving sales growth for the company’s pharmaceutical products. Daily tasks include preparing and negotiating commercial offers, coordinating with internal teams on pricing, supply, and documentation, and ensuring compliance with export and pharmaceutical regulations.
The Export Sales Marketing
Manager will also analyze market trends, develop marketing strategies and campaigns for target regions, and participate in trade fairs or client meetings as required. The role involves regular reporting on sales performance, forecasting demand, and maintaining strong professional relationships with overseas partners.
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Formulation Export to drive and manage the international business for our finished pharmaceutical formulations. The role will be responsible for developing export markets,
managing existing international customers/distributors, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating closely with Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Production and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of export business. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in pharmaceutical exports/finished formulations, along with a good understanding of international regulatory requirements and product registrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive export sales and business development for finished pharmaceutical formulations across international markets.
- Identify and develop new markets, customers, distributors, and business opportunities.
- Manage existing international customers/distributors and drive business growth and retention.
- Coordinate product registrations and regulatory requirements with the Regulatory Affairs team.
- Develop country-wise product, pricing, and market strategies based on market potential and competition.
- Manage the complete order-to-shipment cycle, coordinating with Supply Chain, QA/QC, Production, Logistics, and Finance.
- Monitor sales targets, order pipeline, collections, and market performance.
- Handle customer queries related to commercial, product, regulatory, and supply requirements.
- Support new product launches and portfolio expansion in international markets.
- Provide regular market intelligence, business updates, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in pharmaceutical export business – finished formulations.
- Good understanding of international pharmaceutical markets and regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of product registration and CTD documentation.
- Strong business development and customer acquisition skills.
- Experience in distributor/channel management.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Understanding of export documentation and international logistics.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical exports/international business.
- Experience specifically in finished pharmaceutical formulations is preferred.
- Candidates with exposure to Regulatory Affairs/Product Registration along with Export Business will be preferred.
- Experience handling international distributors/customers and managing product registrations will be an advantage.
- Experience in regulated and/or semi-regulated markets will be an added advantage.
Education
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA in International Business/Marketing will be an added advantage.
