Import-Export Operations Executive – Fresher

Job Summary

We are looking for a smart, energetic and technically skilled fresher to work closely with management in our Import-Export and Trading business.

This position is ideal for someone with a fresh mindset, strong learning ability, good communication skills and good computer/technical knowledge who wants to build a career in International Trade and Import-Export Operations.

The candidate will work directly with management and will be expected to understand new processes quickly, handle multiple responsibilities and take ownership of assigned work.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist management in day-to-day Import-Export operations.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, logistics companies and other business partners.
- Handle professional communication through phone, WhatsApp and email.
- Prepare and maintain business-related documents, records and reports.
- Work on MS Excel, Google Sheets and other business software/tools .
- Assist in preparing quotations, purchase orders, invoices and Import-Export documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, transporters and other service providers.
- Track shipments, orders and delivery schedules.
- Collect, organise and analyse basic business data.
- Search and research information online related to products, suppliers, customers, markets and international trade.
- Assist management in finding new suppliers, customers and business opportunities.
- Maintain proper follow-ups and ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time.
- Learn Import-Export procedures, international trade, logistics and documentation.
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities according to management requirements.
- Take responsibility for assigned work and proactively solve day-to-day problems.

Technical Skills Required The candidate should be technically comfortable and willing to learn new software and digital tools.

Required

- Good knowledge of computers.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets .
- Good internet research and information-finding skills.
- Comfortable using email, WhatsApp and online business platforms.
- Ability to learn new software, websites and digital tools quickly.




- Basic understanding of data handling and documentation.
- Good typing and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work with numbers, records and business information.

Knowledge of AI tools, ChatGPT, Google tools, Excel formulas, online research tools or business software will be an added advantage.

Education Graduate / Undergraduate with relevant skills

Freshers with the right attitude and technical ability will be considered.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Salary will depend on the candidate's communication, technical skills, intelligence, learning ability and interview performance.
