Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Export Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting, export documentation, banking transactions, GST and statutory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts along with export-related financial transactions and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions related to export business.
- Prepare and maintain export invoices, shipping bills, purchase/sales invoices and related documents.
- Handle Letter of Credit (LC), advance payments and export payment realization.
- Coordinate with banks regarding export proceeds, BRC/e-BRC, forex transactions and banking documentation.
- Manage GST, TDS, TCS and other statutory compliances.
- Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliation.
- Maintain customer and vendor ledgers and perform regular reconciliation.
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with CHA, logistics,



sales and operations teams for export documentation and payment-related matters.
- Track outstanding export receivables and follow up for timely realization of payments.
- Maintain proper records for audit and statutory requirements.
- Ensure accurate accounting of foreign currency transactions and related adjustments.
- Support management with financial reports, cash-flow statements and other accounting analysis.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of Export Accounting & Export Documentation.
- Practical knowledge of LC, BRC/e-BRC, Forex and export payment realization.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS & TCS.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime; SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Bank Reconciliation, Ledger Reconciliation, AP & AR.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Strong Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Candidate Profile Candidates with prior experience in Export/Import, Trading, Manufacturing, Agri-commodity or Grain Export companies will be preferred.
