Role Description The Experienced Study Abroad Counsellor will provide end-to-end guidance to students seeking international education opportunities, including course and university selection, country-specific advice, and application support. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counselling sessions, assessing student profiles, explaining admission and visa requirements, and assisting with documentation and timelines. The role involves coordinating with universities and partner institutions, maintaining accurate records in internal systems, and following up regularly with students and their families to ensure smooth progression through each stage of the process.





The counsellor will also participate in seminars, workshops, and outreach activities to promote study abroad options and support business development initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad.

Qualifications

- Strong student counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to assess profiles and recommend suitable countries, courses, and institutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including confident spoken and written English and the ability to build trust with students and families.
- Experience with international admissions processes, including application preparation, documentation review, and understanding of visa and compliance requirements.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, meet deadlines, and maintain detailed records and reports.
- Customer service orientation, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to addressing client queries and challenges.
- Comfort with using computers and common office software; experience with CRM or counselling management tools is an advantage.

- Prior experience as a study abroad or immigration counsellor, preferably with exposure to multiple destination countries.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in education, counselling, international relations, or a related field is preferred.
