Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Manual Tester with 1–2 years of professional experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for testing web and software applications, identifying defects, validating functionality, and ensuring that products meet defined quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of web-based and software applications.
- Understand business and functional requirements and prepare appropriate test scenarios.
- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Reproduce reported issues and provide transparent steps, screenshots, and relevant details.
- Work closely with developers, project coordinators, and other team members to resolve defects.
- Conduct retesting after bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected.
- Validate application functionality across different browsers and devices where required.
- Maintain proper testing documentation and QA reports.
- Follow company QA processes,



standards, and testing procedures.

Required Skills:-
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
- Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in writing and executing test cases.
- Good knowledge of functional and regression testing.
- Understanding of defect/bug life cycle.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL/database testing will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates from a software/IT services workplace are preferred.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new testing tools and technologies.
- Candidates who can join within a short notice period will be preferred.
