Role Description

This full-time, on-site role based in Pune City involves analyzing market opportunities, defining segment strategies, and supporting sales activities for robotic welding applications. The role includes engaging with customers and integrators, conducting technical and application-oriented discussions, and preparing solution proposals tailored to specific robotic welding needs.

The Segment

Expert will collaborate with internal teams on product positioning, demonstrations, and training,



while gathering feedback from the field to support product improvements and innovation. Daily tasks also include preparing documentation and reports, tracking segment performance, and ensuring alignment with Fronius India’s overall business and technology objectives.

Qualifications

- Robust technical knowledge of welding processes and robotic welding systems, including experience with automated and arc welding applications.
- Background in industrial automation or robotics engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and integration requirements.
- Experience in market analysis, segment development, and customer-focused solution design within manufacturing or welding-related industries.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations, deliver technical presentations, and support sales teams in pre- and post-sales activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, and service teams.
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field; advanced qualifications in welding or robotics are an advantage.
- Prior work experience in robotic welding, welding automation, or related application engineering roles is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in an engineering environment in Pune City and willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
