- Role & responsibilities

1. Should have knowledge of MAH industry.
2. Should be able to issue critical safety permit, such as hot work, vessel entry, etc.
3. Should be able to observe unsafe condition and able to take corrective action.
4. Should be able to prepare & execute in office emergency plan.
5. Should be able to handle plant emergency.
6. Should be able to handle & investigate accident, dangerous occurrence, near miss and provide relative guidance to root cause analysis.
7. Should be able to fulfill the requirement of OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
8. Should be able to conduct/coordinate internal safety audit/inspection of plant and machinery, Risk Assessment, HAZOP study, JSA, HIRA.
9. Should be able to train company employee and contract workmen.
10. Should be able to deal with various govt. authorities, GPCB, Factory Inspector.

Compliance of all safety and environmental related statutory requirements.
12. Preparation of daily and monthly MIS.
13. Assist in ensuring consistency in the policies and practices implemented by company.

Functionally handle Fire Tender & train the Fire Squad.

Preferred candidate profile

1. B.E - Chemical (Mandate) with PDIS (Mandate) Dip. in Industrial Safety / Dip. In Industrial Environmental Tech. & Mgt. or equivalent qualification recognized by Govt. of Gujarat with minimum 4-8 years of experience.
2. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Strong ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
4. Superior interpersonal skills required for effective coordination with people at all levels.
