Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Desktop Support Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Desktop Support

Engineer will provide day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related peripherals, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, responding to support tickets, and ensuring minimal downtime for end users. The role also involves maintaining inventory of equipment,



documenting incidents and solutions, collaborating with IT and operations teams to support business applications, and adhering to security and compliance standards. The engineer will deliver professional, timely support to internal stakeholders while contributing to continuous improvement of IT support processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for Windows-based environments and common business applications.
- Candidates should possess practical Printer Support skills, including setup, network configuration, and resolving print-related issues.
- Relevant experience in an IT helpdesk or desktop support role, preferably in a corporate or BPO workplace.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and endpoint security tools.
- Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requests.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are an asset.
