Role Description Emtec Global Solutions Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Busbar Trunking System (BTS) Execution Head to lead the end-to-end execution of busbar trunking projects — from planning and mobilization through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

The role requires strong technical command over low-voltage and medium-voltage busbar trunking systems, hands-on site leadership, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent project sites while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience: 10–15+ years of experience in electrical project execution, with a minimum of 5–7 years Key Skills & Competencies

- In-depth technical knowledge of busbar trunking systems, cable/busway routing, and electrical distribution networks.
- Strong site leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IS 8623, IEC 61439, UL 857, etc., as applicable).
- Proficiency with MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD (for drawing review), and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.
- Willingness to travel extensively and be based at project sites as required.

Project Execution & Site Management

- Lead planning and execution of busbar trunking installation across multiple project sites (industrial, commercial, data center, and infrastructure projects).
- Develop execution schedules, resource plans, and site mobilization plans in coordination with project management and design teams.




- Monitor daily progress against project timelines and proactively resolve execution bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, routing plans, and load schedules during installation.

Technical Oversight

- Provide technical guidance on busbar sizing, jointing, supports, fire barriers, tap-off units, and system routing.
- Review and approve installation methodology, shop drawings, and site engineering documents.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities including insulation resistance, continuity, and thermal imaging checks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and liaise with OEMs/vendors for technical support.

Team & Resource Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage site engineers, supervisors, and installation crews/subcontractors.
- Plan manpower and equipment deployment across sites to optimize productivity.
- Conduct regular training and toolbox talks to reinforce technical and safety standards.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure execution complies with relevant standards (IS/IEC/UL as applicable) and client/consultant specifications.
- Implement and enforce EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety) protocols at all project sites.
- Drive quality control checks at each stage of installation and maintain QA/QC documentation.

Stakeholder & Client Coordination

- Act as the primary execution-level point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide progress, risk, and mitigation updates to senior management.
- Manage documentation for handover, including as-built drawings, test certificates, and O&M; manuals.

Cost & Contract Management

- Monitor site execution costs against budget and flag deviations early.
- Support billing, measurement, and reconciliation processes with the commercial team.
- Assist in variation/change order documentation arising from site conditions.
