EVM Support Engineer / Enterprise Vulnerability Management Analyst
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Mumbai (Hybrid)
Employement Type: C2H
We are looking for an experienced EVM Support Engineer / Enterprise Vulnerability Management Analyst to join our Cyber Security team. The ideal candidate will act as a central coordinator between the Enterprise Vulnerability Management (EVM) team and Application/Server Owners, ensuring timely identification, prioritization, tracking, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across the organization.
The role requires strong expertise in vulnerability management processes, remediation coordination, security scanning tools, and stakeholder management to ensure compliance with security policies and SLA commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and triage vulnerability scan results based on severity, business impact, asset criticality, and exposure.
- Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities categorized as Code Red, Orange, Yellow, High, Medium, and Low risks.
- Assign vulnerabilities to appropriate application, server, database, or infrastructure owners and track remediation progress.
- Coordinate with application teams, server owners, and security teams to ensure vulnerabilities are remediated within defined SLAs.
- Provide technical guidance and support on vulnerability remediation and risk mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain standard remediation documentation, knowledge articles, and playbooks for recurring vulnerability types.
- Validate remediation activities and perform follow-up assessments to ensure vulnerabilities are effectively resolved.
- Identify recurring vulnerabilities and work with stakeholders on long-term preventive measures.
- Prepare security dashboards, SLA reports,
compliance reports, and vulnerability status updates for leadership and technical teams.
- Support security audits and compliance requirements by providing remediation evidence and relevant documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and tooling enhancements to improve EVM effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Enterprise Vulnerability Management (EVM).
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Nessus, or similar.
- Experience in vulnerability triage, remediation tracking, and SLA management.
- Good understanding of security vulnerabilities, CVSS scoring, risk assessment, and remediation techniques.
- Experience coordinating with Application, Infrastructure, Server, Database, and Security teams.
- Knowledge of patch management and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in reporting, dashboard preparation, and compliance documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking, and cloud security.
- Experience with automation and scripting concepts.
- Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of remediation validation and vulnerability lifecycle management.
