Role Overview :

As an ETL Data Migration specialist based in Chennai, you will be at the forefront of our data engineering initiatives, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of complex data transition projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders to design robust pipelines that ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility during large-scale migrations. Your work will directly influence the reliability of our clients' analytical platforms, ensuring that critical business intelligence remains accurate and actionable throughout the transformation process.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable ETL workflows to facilitate the seamless migration of data from legacy systems to modern cloud or on-premise data warehouses.
- Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to perform data extraction, transformation,



and loading, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.
- Automate data validation and reconciliation processes using Python to maintain high standards of data quality and consistency across environments.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical architects to map data requirements and resolve technical bottlenecks during the migration lifecycle.
- Optimize existing data pipelines to improve processing speed and resource utilization, directly contributing to the efficiency of client reporting systems.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in building and maintaining ETL pipelines using industry-standard tools and custom scripting.
- Advanced expertise in SQL for complex data manipulation, schema design, and performance tuning within large-scale databases.
- Strong programming capabilities in Python for automating data workflows and developing custom data transformation logic.
- Proven ability to manage data migration projects with 3 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical data challenges to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a hybrid setting, coordinating effectively with distributed teams based in Chennai.
