Designation: Estimation Engineer – Civil (Precast)

Experience: 1–3 Years

Location: Perundurai,Erode.

Job Objective To prepare accurate project estimates, quantity take-offs, material calculations, cost estimates, and quotations for civil and precast construction projects while ensuring cost control and timely submission of estimates.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for civil and precast projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Calculate quantities for concrete, reinforcement steel, formwork, masonry, and other civil works.
- Prepare material,equipment cost calculations.
- Prepare project quotations and commercial proposals.
- Obtain and compare material and subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, Purchase, Sales, and Project teams for project requirements.
- Review drawings and identify scope of work, quantities, and potential cost variations.
- Prepare rate analysis and maintain estimation records.
- Support tender preparation and submission within deadlines.




- Track changes in project scope and prepare revised estimates when required.
- Assist in cost control and value engineering activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of estimates, BOQs, quotations, and project-related records.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in Civil Estimation / Quantity Surveying is preferred.
- Experience in precast, construction, infrastructure, or building material projects will be an added advantage.
- Positive knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, and costing.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
