Role Description The Estimation Engineer role at Vitech Heavy Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, in office position based in Navi Mumbai.

The Estimation

Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for process equipment and related projects, including reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to generate accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns. Daily activities include coordinating with design, production, and procurement teams, performing cost analysis,



and updating estimation data based on market rates and supplier quotations. The role involves supporting bid preparation, assisting in proposal documentation, and participating in technical and commercial discussions with internal stakeholders and clients.

The Estimation

Engineer is expected to maintain estimation records, contribute to process improvements, and ensure that all estimates align with company standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for engineering or industrial equipment.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Mechanical engineering or related engineering disciplines relevant to process equipment and industrial projects.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for interacting with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid research abilities to analyze cost data, market trends, and technical information for accurate estimates.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience in heavy equipment, process equipment, fabrication, or EPC environments is beneficial.
- Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, and reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
