Role Description The Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental and quantitative analysis of listed companies and sectors, with a focus on building and maintaining coverage for portfolio positions. Day-to-day activities include gathering and interpreting financial statements, industry data, and macroeconomic trends; creating and updating detailed financial models; and preparing clear research reports, investment notes, and recommendations.

The role involves supporting portfolio managers with idea generation, valuation work, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring of existing holdings, including earnings reviews and event-driven updates. The analyst will collaborate closely with the investment team,



participate in internal discussions on portfolio construction, and contribute to the firm’s disciplined, research-led investment process. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Hyderabad, with a mix of in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a structured problem-solving mindset.
- Candidates should possess solid Financial Modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
- Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Finance and Investments, including equity markets, portfolio concepts, and risk-return dynamics.
- Candidates should possess strong Research capabilities, including data gathering, industry analysis, and clear synthesis of findings.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to internal stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers and large datasets.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing deadlines and multiple research projects.
