About the Role:

KPMG in India's IIDA team is seeking a highly motivated EoDB Expert to support government transformation initiatives focused on improving the business in Uttar Pradesh. The selected candidate will work closely with government departments, industry stakeholders, and project teams to drive Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) reforms, regulatory simplification, and investment facilitation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the design and implementation of Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) reforms across government departments.
- Conduct regulatory reviews and recommend process simplification measures to improve business-friendly governance.
- Coordinate with state government departments, agencies, and industry stakeholders for implementation of reform agendas.
- Monitor and track EoDB indicators, reform progress, and compliance against state and national frameworks.
- Prepare policy notes, diagnostic assessments, benchmarking studies, and reform roadmaps.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), citizen/business service delivery frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and capacity-building programs.
- Support project management, reporting, and presentation of findings to senior government officials.

Qualification:





- Postgraduate degree in Management (MBA/PGDM) or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Experience:

- Minimum 7 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB), Regulatory Reforms, Business Reforms, Investment Promotion, or Government Policy Advisory.
- Experience working as a Consultant, Senior Consultant, Module Lead, or equivalent role on EoDB assignments with any State Government during the last 3 years.
- Experience in stakeholder management and coordination with government departments and agencies.
- Prior experience in government consulting, public policy, investment promotion, or governance reform projects will be preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong understanding of EoDB frameworks, regulatory reforms, and investment facilitation mechanisms.
- Knowledge of state and national business reform initiatives and governance processes.
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and project management tools.
