Role & responsibilities

Detailed Role Description

- Conduct daily plant rounds to identify unsafe acts and conditions across operations, tools, and machinery.
- Ensure absolute compliance with company safety policies by all internal staff and third-party contractors.
- Lead safety induction training for new joiners and conduct regular tool-box safety talks prior to work commencement.
- Investigate root causes of all accidents or near-misses, prepare detailed incident reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Plan and execute periodic fire drills, initiate the work permit system, and enforce proper control measures based on identified hazards.
- Inspect the plant fire system, manage contraction tools inspection, oversee engineering controls, and perform internal safety audits.
- Prepare the Monthly Safety Report and ensure strict follow-up and timely closure of safety committee meeting points.

Technical Skills Required

- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety standards.
- Expertise in hazard identification and closure tracking.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Mandatory Qualification

- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) is strictly mandatory.
