Role Description This is a remote, contract role for an English and Communications Specialist and Public Speaking Teacher working with Indian domestic students. In this role, the specialist will plan and deliver online lessons focused on English language skills, communication, and public speaking, using engaging and learner-centered methods.

Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans and activities, conducting live online classes, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to help learners improve confidence and clarity in speech. The specialist will also collaborate with the academic team to refine course content, adapt materials for different age groups and proficiency levels, and maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.



Occasional interaction with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and participation in training or curriculum enhancement sessions may be required.

Qualifications

- Strong English Teaching skills, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and spoken English instruction for Indian domestic students.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to teach public speaking, presentation skills, and interpersonal communication in an online classroom.
- Ability to perform Translation tasks when needed (e.g., clarifying concepts in regional languages) to support learner understanding.
- Customer Service orientation to manage student and parent queries professionally and maintain a supportive learning environment.
- Training skills to design and deliver structured sessions, workshops, and practice modules for public speaking and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Education, or a related field; a teaching certification or TESOL/TEFL qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching English or communication skills online or in classrooms, preferably with Indian school or coaching centers.
- Comfort with digital tools, learning platforms, and basic productivity software; ability to teach effectively via video conferencing.
- Reliable internet connection, suitable home workspace, and the ability to work flexible hours aligned with student schedules.
- Solid organizational skills, patience, and a learner-centric approach, with a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory teaching practices.
