Role: Engineering Manager

Experience: 7 to 12 years

Roles & Responsibility:

- Lead and manage backend and frontend development teams.
- Manage project planning, development and timely delivery.
- Work closely with product, QA, DevOps and business teams.
- Guide the team on technical solutions and development practices.
- Review code and ensure application quality and performance.
- Manage Agile sprints, estimations and project priorities.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Support production issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Drive improvements in application performance, scalability and security.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Experience in REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA and SQL databases.
- Good knowledge of MongoDB.




- Experience with Angular and/or Vue.js, JavaScript/TypeScript

Additional Skills

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure and cloud-based applications.
- Solid understanding of System Design and Software Architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Candidates

- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Prior experience in engineering/team management is required.
- Strong technical and people-management skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Experience in FinTech, BFSI or payment-related products will be an added advantage.
