Role Description This full-time, on-site Engineering Manager / Technical Lead role is based in Gurugram. The role involves leading and mentoring engineering teams, setting technical direction, and ensuring high-quality delivery of software solutions that support StarAgri’s agritech platform and operational systems.

Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end software development, managing project timelines and priorities, coordinating integration between internal and external systems,



and collaborating closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders.

The Engineering

Manager / Technical Lead will drive best practices in architecture, code quality, and performance, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, reliability, and innovation aligned with the company’s mission.

Qualifications

- Strong Engineering Management skills, including team leadership, mentoring, performance management, and resource planning.
- Proficiency in Software Development, with hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure applications and systems.
- Demonstrated ability in Project Management, including planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery of complex technical initiatives.
- Experience with system Integration, APIs, and interoperability between multiple platforms and third-party services.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and contemporary development practices (CI/CD, testing, code review).
- Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in agritech, supply chain, fintech, or enterprise platforms is an advantage, along with familiarity with cloud infrastructure and data-driven solutions.
