Job Opening: Junior Engineer (Planning & Billing)

Reporting to: Manager – Contracts & Planning

Salary- 35k to 45k

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Task Execution & Daily Updates

- Execute tasks assigned by the Manager – Contracts & Planning.
- Ensure timely completion of work and share end-of-day status reports.
- Be proactive and adaptable to new tasks.

2. Site Coordination & Data Collection

- Coordinate with site engineers to collect daily progress, manpower, and material usage.
- Conduct site visits for verification of work, measurements, and data collection, as instructed.

3. Planning & Progress Monitoring

- Track daily progress and highlight delays or issues.
- Assist in preparing work schedules, planning reports, and progress charts.

4. Billing & Quantity Work

- Assist in quantity calculation and verification of executed work.
- Support preparation of RA Bills and Final Bills as per site measurements.
- Maintain records of extra or additional work for billing and documentation.

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain reports, formats, and data sheets as per project requirements.
- Share timely updates with the Planning & Contracts Department.

Material & Resource Tracking

- Prepare material consumption reports and reconcile with work progress and billing.
- Report mismatches or unusual variations in usage/quantities.

7. Computer Skills

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic planning tools/software.
- Prepare structured reports, dashboards, and data sheets.

8. Support to Manager

- Assist the Manager in planning, billing, and contractual documentation.
- Ensure smooth coordination between site, client, and planning office.

Desired Profile

- Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with good knowledge may apply)
- Skills: Robust analytical skills, computer-friendly, attention to detail
