Location: Hyderabad

Experience

- 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience with a Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience with a Master's degree
- 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience with a PhD
- 2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python
- 9-15 years of relevant work experience in software development

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software and applications
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions
- Develop and commercialize Qualcomm AI Runtime
- Deploy large C/C++ software stacks using best practices
- Stay updated on GenAI advancements and understand LLMs/Transformers and edge-based GenAI deployment
- Optimize algorithms for AI hardware accelerators like CPU, GPU, and NPU




- Analyze and debug software issues
- Collaborate across a globally diverse team

Additional Responsibilities

- Push the limits of performance from large AI models
- Understand the role of edge computing in AI evolution
- Communicate effectively through verbal, presentation, and written skills
- Abide by company policies and procedures including security and confidentiality requirements

Nice To Have

- Strong understanding of SIMD processor architecture and system design
- Proficiency in object-oriented software development
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments
- Robust background in kernel development for SIMD architectures
- Familiarity with frameworks like llama.cpp, MLX, and MLC
- Good knowledge of PyTorch, TFLite, and ONNX Runtime
- Experience with parallel computing systems and languages like OpenCL and CUDA
