Ambidience Global Private Limited is seeking a Certified Energy Manager certified by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India, to lead energy efficiency, energy management, and sustainability-related initiatives for clients and internal projects. The role will focus on identifying energy-saving opportunities, preparing actionable energy conservation plans, supporting compliance under the Energy Conservation Act, and helping clients reduce operating costs and carbon footprint through practical, measurable interventions.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Energy Auditor / Energy Manager (BEE Certified) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in conducting energy assessments and audits in Steel, Cement, Power, Chemical, Pharma, Textile, Food, Pulp and Paper among other energy-intensive industries . This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on national and international projects focusing on sustainability, energy, environment carbon among others.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual energy management activity plans and present financially attractive energy-saving investments to management and clients.
- Conduct walkthrough and detailed energy assessments covering electrical systems, HVAC, pumps, motors, compressed air systems, lighting, boilers, thermal systems, utilities, and building energy performance among others.
- Analyse energy consumption patterns, utility bills, load profiles, specific energy consumption, and operating parameters to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop energy conservation measures with technical feasibility, investment estimates, expected savings, payback period, and implementation roadmap.
- Support BEE-related compliance requirements, including energy management documentation, reporting, and coordination with accredited energy auditors where required.
- Monitor, measure, and verify implemented energy-saving projects using appropriate baseline, metering, and performance-tracking methods.
- Prepare professional technical reports, dashboards, presentations, and client-facing recommendations for energy efficiency and sustainability projects.
- Coordinate with facility teams, OEMs, vendors, consultants, and contractors for implementation of energy conservation projects.
- Support development of energy management systems, operating procedures, awareness programs, and training sessions for client teams.
1. Stay updated on BEE programs, Energy Conservation Act requirements, energy efficiency technologies, renewable energy integration, carbon reduction practices, carbon markets (CBAM, CCTS, etc.) and relevant Indian standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Energy Manager certification issued by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India.
- Master Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Energy Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline; postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in energy management, energy efficiency projects, facility operations, utilities, maintenance, sustainability consulting, or industrial energy performance improvement.
- Solid understanding of electrical and thermal energy systems, energy audit methodology, measurement techniques, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Working knowledge of BEE guidelines, Energy Conservation Act provisions, energy conservation measures, and Indian industrial/commercial energy management practices.
Desirable Qualifications
- Strong background in Business Development, Key Account Management, and Sales in the energy/renewable sector.
- Experience in ESS/BESS project development, techno-commercial evaluation, and tendering.
- Proven ability to manage large-value deals and complex negotiations.
- Strong network across government agencies, utilities, and renewable developers.
- Expertise in SWOT analysis, project management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, CERC/SERC policies, ECSBC/BRSR/ESG/open access, and related guidelines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with energy audits for manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, hospitality, healthcare, data centres, or institutional facilities.
- Exposure to ISO 50001, ESG reporting, carbon footprint reduction, renewable energy feasibility, or demand-side management projects.
- Hands-on experience with power quality analysers, thermal imaging cameras, flue gas analysers, flow meters, lux meters, data loggers, and related instruments.
- Experience preparing client proposals, technical-commercial offers, and project implementation plans.

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation will be commensurate with certification status, technical experience, consulting exposure, and project delivery capability. The role may include performance-linked incentives based on successful energy-saving project identification, implementation support, and client engagement outcomes.
