About Marbles Health
Marbles Health is a brain-health company developing technology-assisted solutions for neurological disorders. Our flagship product, EASE has been the first device to get Medical Device License in India for treatment of Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and OCD.
We are expanding into new disorders and looking for an Embedded Systems R&D; Intern, to work closely with our Electronics R&D; team on real product development.
Internship with potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
What You Will Do
- Design, modify, test and debug electronic circuits and PCBs.
- Develop and debug embedded firmware for ESP32 / STM32 / nRF / similar MCUs.
- Work with C/C and Python for firmware, device communication, testing and automation.
- Work with BLE and hardware-software integration.
- Build and test prototypes and troubleshoot real hardware/firmware problems.
- Use laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and power supplies.
- Read datasheets and application notes and independently investigate unfamiliar components/technologies. Debug and improve circuits.
- Participate in product development, testing, debugging and design improvements.
- Exposure to electronics, embedded firmware, BLE, Python, PCB design and product development. So you will not be in a bubble of your own expertise work. You may contribute in other departments if you wish to.
What We Are Looking For:
Must Have
- Pursuing or completed B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. in Electronics, ECE, Electrical, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems or related field.
- Strong fundamentals in analog & digital electronics, including op-amps, transistors/MOSFETs, logic gates, ADC/DACs, microprocessors and Computer Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with ESP32, STM32, nRF, Arduino or similar microcontrollers.
- Good practical knowledge of C/C and Python.
- Experience designing or working with PCBs using KiCad, Altium, Eagle, EasyEDA or similar.
- Understanding of basic interfaces such as UART, SPI, I²C and GPIO.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
- At least 1–2 self-built electronics/embedded projects that you can explain in detail.
- Operating Oscilloscope and Function generators and testing signals with it.
- Experience in soldering PCB components like DIP, QFN, BGA.
Positive to Have
- BLE / GATT coding experience.
- ESP-IDF, STM32 HAL/CubeIDE or nRF development experience.
- Git/GitHub experience.
- Participation in hackathons, robotics/technical competitions or engineering teams.
- Experience taking a project from prototype to a working product.
