Job Purpose

Responsible for electrical quality inspection, control circuit testing, main circuit testing, troubleshooting and final testing of Marshalling Boxes, RTCC Panels and other electrical control panels as per approved drawings and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect complete panel wiring as per schematic, control circuit, terminal plan, GA and BOM.
- Perform continuity, insulation resistance, AC/DC supply and functional testing.
- Test main circuits, control circuits, relay logic, interlocking and indication circuits.
- Verify wiring, ferruling, terminal numbering, lugging, crimping, earthing and component ratings.
- Test Auto/Manual, Local/Remote, Alarm/Trip and Raise/Lower circuits.
- Perform complete testing of RTCC Panels, including AVR, OLTC control, TPI, CT/PT circuits, SCADA/SAS signals and interlocks.
- Test Marshalling Box circuits such as OTI, WTI, Buchholz Relay, MOG, PRD, cooling fan, heater, PT100/RTD and 4–20 mA circuits.
- Simulate field inputs and verify relay contacts, annunciation, alarms, trips and output signals.
- Identify and troubleshoot wrong wiring, open/short circuits, incorrect NO/NC contacts, relay faults and control logic problems.
- Support FAT/customer inspection and prepare electrical testing and quality reports.





Circuit Design Knowledge Candidate should be able to:
- Read and understand electrical schematic and control drawings independently.
- Develop or modify basic relay-based control circuits.
- Select suitable relays, contactors, MCBs, fuses, timers and control components.
- Check drawings for circuit errors before production.
- Prepare or support drawing modifications and As-Built corrections.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN will be an added advantage.

Testing Instrument Knowledge Should be familiar with Digital Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Megger, Variac/Dimmerstat, AC/DC Power Supply, 4–20 mA Calibrator, PT100 Simulator/Resistance Box and other electrical testing instruments.

Preferred Candidate: Hands-on electrical engineer with more than 5 years of relevant experience, capable of independently reading drawings, checking production wiring, safely energizing panels, testing complete circuits, troubleshooting faults and clearing panels for dispatch.
