Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Electrical Head to lead electrical engineering, project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Electrical Projects, MEP, and Fire Fighting systems, along with excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all Electrical Projects from planning to execution and final handover.
- Oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Manage electrical systems including LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, power distribution, lighting, earthing, cable systems, and control systems.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and resources for project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure completion within time, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
- Review BOQs, estimates, technical specifications, and material requirements.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS, NBC, electrical safety standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems.
- Oversee electrical requirements related to Fire Fighting and Fire Protection systems, including power supply and control systems for fire pumps and associated equipment.
- Lead testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper project documentation.
- Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Lead, mentor,



and manage electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians, and site teams.
- Participate in client and consultant meetings and provide technical solutions.
- Support business development, estimation, costing, and technical proposal activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements at project sites.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Additional certification or qualification in MEP / Fire & Safety / Project Management will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, execution, testing, and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of MEP coordination and Fire Fighting systems.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.

Required Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in electrical project execution and management.
- Experience in MEP projects is highly preferred.
- Experience in Fire Fighting / Fire Protection systems will be an added advantage.
- Experience handling commercial, industrial, residential, infrastructure, or large-scale MEP projects.
- Experience managing engineers, supervisors, contractors, and multiple project teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a strong technical and managerial professional with hands-on experience in electrical project execution and the ability to lead large project teams. Candidates with exposure to MEP and Fire Fighting projects will be preferred. The candidate should demonstrate robust problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, client-handling capabilities, and the ability to manage projects from planning through execution and final handover.
