We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to manage electrical maintenance activities and ensure reliable and protected operation of all electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, MCC panels, VFDs, and electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize machine downtime.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance and ensure timely maintenance.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists, and reports.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Supervise electricians and external electrical contractors.
- Monitor power consumption and support initiatives to reduce energy costs.
- Maintain adequate electrical spares and coordinate with the purchase team when required.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
- Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of HT & LT electrical systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting motors, panels, VFDs, transformers, and DG sets.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and maintenance practices.
- Good problem-solving and team-handling skills.
- Valid electrical licence / C Licence will be an added advantage
