Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and reliability-focused Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee our facility's electrical infrastructure. In this role, you will implement comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. You will resolve complex technical system errors and lead a team of in office technicians. The primary goal is to maximize machine uptime, cut energy waste, and maintain strict adherence to industrial safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

System Maintenance & Reliability

- Preventive Programs: Establish, track, and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for all electrical assets.
- Asset Coverage: Maintain transformers, switchgears, UPS systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial motors.
- Predictive Tech: Conduct thermal imaging, vibration analyses, and insulation resistance tests to stop failures early.
- Control Systems: Troubleshoot and program PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA networks, and HMIs.

Breakdown Response & Technical Leadership

- Rapid Repair: Provide on-call diagnostic support to safely repair critical production line faults.
- Root Cause: Conduct formal root-cause analysis (RCA) on repeating equipment issues to find permanent fixes.
- Team Guidance: Supervise, train, and delegate work orders to shift technicians and third-party contractors.
- Modernization: Identify obsolete automation parts and manage capital project upgrades for aging systems.

Inventory & Documentation

- CMMS Tracking: Document all maintenance, equipment downtime logs,



and work orders inside the CMMS software.
- Spare Parts: Manage inventory levels for critical electrical components to avoid extended downtime.
- Schematics: Update and maintain plant electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Safety & Compliance

- Regulations: Ensure full alignment with local electrical codes, OSHA safety standards, and ISO regulations.
- Lockout/Tagout: Enforce precise Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols across all maintenance teams during system interventions.

Technical Skills & Competencies

- Automation: High proficiency with PLC logic, instrumentation, industrial networking, and SCADA architectures.
- Power Systems: Deep knowledge of high/low voltage distributions, substation controls, and circuit breakers.
- Diagnostics: Skillful use of digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, and loop calibrators.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to effortlessly read complex electrical schematics, P&IDs;, and wiring layouts.
- Software: Mastery of CMMS databases (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and CAD software for minor layout modifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of practical electrical maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), or an industrial electrician certification is highly valued.
- Physical Needs: Capability to navigate tight industrial environments, climb ladders, and lift heavy testing equipment safely.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
