Job Purpose

To manage the complete estimation and pre-sales process for industrial HT and LT electrical projects – from site survey and understanding customer requirements through technical estimation, costing, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation, and project handover. The role will also support project execution, quality control, and project-wise profitability monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct HT/LT electrical site surveys and understand customer/project requirements.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, SLDs, layouts, cable routing, panel layouts, and earthing layouts.
- Prepare accurate BOMs, material quantities, manpower estimates, and project costing.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, prepare comparisons, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals/quotations with appropriate project margins.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining quality and technical compliance.
- Participate in customer discussions and negotiations and support the Sales team in converting enquiries into orders.
- Ensure all scope, specifications, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial commitments are properly documented.
- Conduct technical and commercial handover of awarded projects to the execution team.
- Support project execution, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, quality,



and compliance with approved drawings, BOQ/BOM, specifications, and standards.
- Track project-wise costs, budgets, P&L;, margins, and cost variances.
- Identify and document additional work/variations and ensure timely billing.
- Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for billing, receivables, and profitability tracking.
- Maintain accurate technical, commercial, quotation, and project documentation.

Key Skills & Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of industrial HT & LT electrical systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of electrical estimation, costing, BOM, SLDs, and project execution.
- Knowledge of transformers, HT/LT panels, VCBs, RMUs, cables, bus ducts, cable trays, earthing, and protection systems.
- Strong commercial evaluation, negotiation, customer-handling, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of project costing, profitability, and P&L;.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/enquiries, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
